This app helps you discover near-Earth objects (NEOs). Filter by their type (asteroid or comet), closest approach time, closest distance, and diameter.
For each NEO, the app shows you an Earth-Moon model with the asteroid (or comet) indicated at the proper location. The app also helps you understand the NEO's size by comparing it to a familiar object.
The data on NEOs is provided by NASA's Small Body Database (SBDB) and SBDB Close-Approach Data APIs.

How to install NEOscan on your iOS device:

- Once the NEOscan is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.
- If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After NEOscan is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
